Okay, here's the thing

I try to write when my baby daughter naps during the day. Recently she has given her dear old dad the finger and refused to sleep, and all I had to do was finish the damn chapter. Finally got it done today. So, delayed, but done, chapter sixteen.

Bet you thought I forgot

But I did not, so guess wot.
Chapter fifteen is what I got.

Put Chapter 14 in the can.

I was a little worried about getting into it after such a long break, but I think the time off was good for me. After a quick review of my notes I was able to slide right back into the story.

Makes me wonder why I let if go for so long.

Another Cancellation

Looks like I won't be going to Cobourg on the 13th. Apparently Galaxy Press did not follow up on the signing event and the bookstore has no stock (this why it is always good to call ahead). I know this must be heartbreaking news. To all my fans who follow me from signing to signing, mobbing me and throwing dirty underwear at my head, I am truly sorry.

And since my email isn't working, I can't contact Galaxy, or anyone for that matter, right now.

As for the book, well this Christmas period was horrendous and I did nothing. I hope to get back on that, ahem, writing horse soon.

Get it? Riding horse--writing horse.
